Conversation Practice – Beginning Levels – Morning Class

Using everyday situations as topics of conversation, we will help you strengthen your communication skills. You will be given a topic and accompanying vocabulary to review during the week and once in class, you will engage in conversations with your classmates while your instructor keeps them flowing and helps you when needed.

Topics such as “your morning routine”, “how to invite friends to do an activity with you”, “your favorite ways to shop”, “dos and don’ts when invited for dinner in Italy”, “a typical Sunday routine,” “how you used to spend your summers as a child”, etc. are examples of the basic conversations in which you could engage. The goal is to have you hear and use Italian only as you discuss “the topic du jour”. Your listening comprehension ability will inevitably improve as well.

What better way to enjoy your morning coffee?

Little homework is required for this class, making it an ideal solution for busy people in need of speaking practice. But this class can also be taken in conjunction with a more traditional class for added practice or reinforcement. Whether taken on its own or as a complement, this class will boost your confidence and give your speaking ability a jolt!

Recommended level: Faux-Beginning through Low Intermediate
