This class is a continuation of our Introduction to French classes (1 & 2).

Coming into this class you can interact in a simple way provided your interlocutor is prepared to repeat or rephrase words or communications at a slower rate of speech and help you formulate what you are trying to say. You can ask and answer questions in a variety of forms in areas of immediate need or on familiar topics. You use common phrases and sentences to describe where you live and people you know. You can speak in the present and are developing your skills in speaking about activities in the past and present.

In this class you will develop your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills to communicate about yourself, and about people and places beyond yourself. You will learn to understand faster when you listen and speak for longer when responding to common questions. Your will acquire more knowledge about the French speaking world and develop  your cultural understanding.

If you need assistance to determine if this class is right for you, we would be happy to help.
