Reading a book in French might appear a bit daunting but if someone chooses the book for you and accompanies you as you tackle it in small manageable pieces and discuss it weekly in class… you may be in for a pleasant and highly rewarding experience that will contribute to boost your confidence!
If you are ready to move into the realm of unabridged literature, let the adventure begin! You will be challenged as you continue to increase your vocabulary and solidify your knowledge of French grammar, and will also gain insight into Francophone cultures.
You will be asked to read 22 to 23 pages a week (at home) and on Friday, you will meet with your classmates and instructor for an hour of discussion, clarifications, explanations, etc. — in French of course!
