Listen to Italian podcasts, watch online news in Italian, read online Italian news, and come and discuss what you’ve learned with your classmates. If you can read periodicals, understand the gist of most TV or radio programs in standard language; if you can narrate a story or relate the main points of an article and describe your reactions… join us to discuss various Italian news stories.

Each week your instructor will select an article, a short tv or radio program, and send questions to help you prepare for ensuing discussions in the following week. You will broaden your knnowledge of Italy today, enrich your vocabulary, and boost your speaking skills!

This class can be taken in combination with another more traditionally structured class or on its own.
