Students entering this level should have completed the Japanese for Busy People 1 and 2 and Genki I textbooks or their equivalent. They should be able to read and write Hiragana, Katakana, and some Kanji.

In this class, students will reinforce and develop their vocabulary, sentence structure, listening and speaking skills through weekly assignments.

The class also offers students an opportunity to enhance their reading skills making perusing Japanese newspapers or understanding pop song lyrics more pleasurable.

The class is, however, always conducted to meet the specific needs of our students within the course objectives.

If you need assistance to determine if this class is right for you, we would be happy to help.
