In this level, you can typically ask and answer questions, understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment, etc.), you can discuss familiar topics, describe, and narrate. You express yourself with relative ease and your accuracy is sufficient for making yourself understood but not flawless.
While it is customary to focus on past tenses in this level (passé composé, imparfait, plus-que-parfait through story telling), your control of these tenses still requires work and although you have been introduced to the conditional and subjunctive moods, they are not yet a part of your active memory bank.
If you need assistance to determine if this class is right for you, we would be happy to help. Please SIGN UP TO ATTEND OUR VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE on April 17th. It’s FREE!
