Peter Monro is back to delight us with stories of his most recent month-long walking adventures through France on his way to Spain. Beginning his presentation in Paris where he met up with his daughter Allison, Peter will take us through a little-known part of France described by geographers as la diagonale des faibles densités or at times, la diagonale du vide (“the empty diagonal”).
Peter is a retired landscape architect who as an undergraduate studied at the Sorbonne and the Institut d’Études Politiques in Paris. His daughter Allison, a marketing executive in Boston, spent a summer in southern France in high school.
We will be serving desserts and refreshments.
