Listen to French radio stations, watch French news online, read French news in print, watch a French program and come and discuss it with your classmates. If you can read periodicals, understand the gist of most TV, radio programs, and the majority of films in standard language; if you can narrate a story or relate the plot of a book or film and describe your reactions… join other lovers of the French language for conversations in French. Rendez-vous in a fun, welcoming environment to discuss the news while your “Professeur” points out your mistakes and keeps the conversation flowing. Each week we will select an article, tv or radio program, etc. for ensuing discussions in the following week.
Little preparation is required for this class, but some is to be expected. You can always put in as much or as little preparation as you’d like…

Advanced Intermediate French – Morning class
In this level, you are able to understand the main ideas of rather complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, able to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party, and able to explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

French Private or Semi-Private Instruction
If you cannot find a group class, if your schedule does not enable you to attend regular weekly meetings or if you learn better in a one-on-one setting, you may want to consider private or semi-private instruction with one of our instructors.

Intermediate 1 French – Evening class
This level is a continuation of the low intermediate levels. It is a level we also recommend for people who studied French in high school and college but may not have used it much since while having retained a good foundation.
