This class is the continuation of the Introduction to German class that took place in the fall. If you did not take this class with us in the fall, please get in touch so that we may assist you in determining if this class will suit your needs.

Since you completed the fall class, you are able to recognize familiar words and basic phrases concerning yourself, your family, and immediate surroundings when people speak slowly and clearly. You are able to interact in a simple way provided your interlocutor is prepared to repeat or rephrase words or communications at a slower rate of speech and help you formulate what you are trying to say. You are able to ask and answer simple questions in areas of immediate need or on very familiar topics. You can use basic phrases and sentences to describe where you live and people you know. You are also able to write a short, simple postcard, such as a holiday greeting, and fill out forms with personal details.

If you need assistance to determine if this class is right for you, we would be happy to help. Please stop by during the Open House or contact us.
